We had the privilege of having a visit of the Nuncio of Greece, Archbishop Edward Edams, visit Villa Guadalupe. Archbishop studied in Rome at the same time as Fr. Tachias, our Chaplin, and since their days in Rome they have kept correspondence. Fr. Tachias of course came back to the States when he finished his studies, while Archbishop Adams became a diplomat traveling to many different countries such as Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, the Philippines, and now Greece. In all these different countries he represents our Holy Father.
The Archbishop is originally from Philadelphia, and we are very grateful that he was able to take time to visit us in the southwest! We pray for his ministry in Greece.
