A mother and her small son Finnegan, “Fin”, come to Mass often at Villa Guadalupe. One of the first times they came, young Fin was waiting for his mom to make her thanksgiving after Mass. He saw a light in the sacristy and peeked in. He saw one of the Residents (Kathleen) who helps in the Chapel cleaning the cruets and putting things away. She asked Fin if he would like to help her by drying the cruets. Now whenever he comes to Mass with his Mom he always visits with Kathleen and helps her in drying the cruets and different things. He has invited Kathleen to watch him play soccer. Kathleen was a teacher for many years and enjoys being with children very much. She also prays for Fin and the children of this generation, that they will be faith-filled. Perhaps he will become a priest one day! He is off to a good start by coming to Mass often with his mother. Our prayers go out to Finnegan and all our youth, give them faith O Lord!
