For the last four years the Mission Church of St. Ann’s from Klagetoh, Arizona has been hosting a Mission Trip of High School Students. This year’s group of students was from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Their task was to make “Navajo Tacos” for the whole house! You might ask what do teen-aged boys from Mississippi know about “Navajo Tacos?” I would have to say “Nothing!”

Several of the Ladies from the Parish came to help them. Some of the young men chopped onions and tomatoes; others cooked the meat, while others helped to make “Fry Bread.”

After all was chopped, cooked and fried the young men came to the Resident’s Dinning Room and helped serve the Resident’s their Dinner. All agreed they did a great job!
