The Saturday after Mother’s Day we had our annual “Mother-Daughter Tea” which could be described as “Fun, Music and Tea”. With Pat and Toni Neff (our Music Therapist) playing country music in the background, all enjoyed their tea as they tapped their feet, especially when they played “Get your Kicks on Route 66” (which mentions Gallup, New Mexico).
Here at Villa Guadalupe, so many of our Residents are either related in some way or long time friends with other Residents. This means that when we have a “Family Activity” it is really a family affair, with many visits and much joy!
