When Mother Mary Thomas returned on May 6 to begin serving for the third time at our Home, many of the Residents and staff lined up outside to greet her. During her first assignment here, she led the Unit of Residents for nine years and then was transferred to another Home. Later, she returned as Mother. Now after six years, she has returned as Mother again! Many “old friends” greeted her, along with those who welcomed her for the first time.
The entertainment for May 7 included first to sixth grade students from the Baca School. These children were from their Diné class (Navajo culture). They were all dressed up in their native costumes with turquoise jewelry. They invited some of the Sisters to dance with them. All had a great time singing and dancing!
It is so good to have Mother Mary Thomas back with us!
