Each year in May, just before summer vacation begins, students from St Michael’s Indian School, which was founded by St. Katherine Drexel for Native Americans, spend the afternoon with our Residents playing Bingo and entertaining them. They also joined them for supper, so were able to get to know the Residents a little better. During supper the students sang several songs to them.
Our Residents look forward to seeing these young people every year. And every year the students hate to go back to St Michael’s after spending time with our Residents!
