Our Residents, staff and volunteers had a great time preforming in our annual Christmas Play.Telling the story of the birth of Jesus from the Annunciation to the arrival of the Kings from afar, there was much enthusiasm shown in preparation, with costumes and special props.

The baby Jesus appeared in a “cradleboard”, which is much like the swaddling clothes. Mary sat along a bale of hay and Joseph stood beside her. The Kings came in their regal robes with gifts to present to the child. The whole audience joined in with the singing, singing many of the traditional Hymns.
