Many intentions are confided to us, either by mail, e-mail or by phone; every day we take it to heart to pray for our Benefactors and their intentions, for an increase of Priestly and Religious vocations and for the needs of the world and the Church.
We have a good group of Residents who come to the Rosary. Even though it is the Sisters who take turns to lead the Rosary, there are Residents who take part in saying the different decades of the Rosary. I feel that the group is larger at Villa Guadalupe than in many of our other Homes and the Residents like to join the Sisters in their prayer.
After the Rosary, we say Evening Prayer, which is a “Prayer of the Church”, and has been encouraged to say by all; not just Priest and Religious, but the whole Church. During the Evening Prayer, we again pray for the intentions of our Benefactors and also our Holy Father, and those many intentions for our world. Be assured of our prayers for you all!
