Recently, the Residents have been so happy knowing that the old “Swamp Coolers” are in the process of being replaced. The two old swamp coolers from the Resident’s unit are the original from 25 years ago from when we moved into the “New Home.” They have been repaired over and over again these last few years and it was finally decided that they needed to be replaced.
Here in the Southwest, most people find the Swamp Coolers more effective than Air Conditioning. You also don’t have a problem with opening window and losing the cool air. The installation is taking about two weeks, but is well worth it, since our temperatures are still in the 80’s and 90’s. The new Swamp Cooler will bring coolness to Residents, Staff, and Sisters, which is something to look forward to!
