Each year “Young Neighbors in Action” comes to our Home to freshen-up our parking lot. This year we were privileged to have young people from St Cecilia’s in Boston. They were a wonderful group!
First they swept and painted both the front and back parking lots. Then they took a day cleaning out our garages — taking every out, sweeping and hosing down the floor. Then the big trick was to put everything back in where it should be!
They also took time during the week to meet our Residents. They helped to animate the Birthday Party. While some danced with the Residents, others just sat and talked with them. All profited from this week, not just in painting the parking lot, but making new friends!
